Fairfield County Bank
Rowayton, Connecticut
The objective was to create a landscape that reflected the historic village district, and supported the bank’s community focus and personal service. Entry piers of local stones, wood light poles, and traditional seaside plants emulate the neighborhood character and complement the shingle style architecture. The sidewalks are paved in clay brick, and granite curbs, and granite pavement accents enhance the entry experience. Subtle uplighting and full cutoff area lighting gives the bank night presence at this crucial intersection on Rowayton Avenue.
